Is your organization on autopilot? Doing things the same way for years -- yes, it may have worked before, but is it working best for today? Stryx Strategies LLC, with deep expertise in optimizing different types of organizations, has some tips to help you determine whether your firm could benefit from an assessment and some restructuring--whether it could use slight tweaking, a major overhaul, or if it is just dandy as is (it's still always good to take a look at the landscape every now and then). With over three decades of experience in digital and print publishing, Stryx Strategies LLC is a leader in providing valuable insights for both new and established businesses in the field.

Five steps to assessing your organization's structure, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  1. How is your company's performance? Using whatever benchmarks that you've determined are relevant, how are you doing?

  2. How long has it been since anyone has performed a workflow analysis?

  3. Have your either increased your workforce by 10-20 percent, or decreased it by 10-20 percent, without any new overall assessment of efficiency?

  4. Has new competition entered your market since the last time your assessed your workflow and efficiency?

  5. Is your "gut" telling you that something is wrong?
